Frequently Asked Questions

What is a student-athlete?

At UCF, student-athletes are students who have shown a commitment to their school or community and to one or more sports in which they compete on the intercollegiate level. They are doers and achievers who dare to dream and pursue their goals.

What do I need to do to change my major?

Students may fill out the change of major forms in the ASSA office with their individual advisor. The form will then need to be submitted for processing.

Can you print my class audit?

Yes, an ASSA advisor can print class audits. Students can also print their degree audits by accessing their academic records on the MyUCF system from one of the computers located in the SABRE Center.

Do I need to be a scholarship student-athlete to get help from ASSA?

No, ASSA helps all student-athletes. However, both scholarship and non-scholarship student-athletes are encouraged to also get assistance from the college or program of their major field of study in addition to ASSA.
